one way both Doctor Who and His Dark Materials help the BBC is that they include inclusivity for kids to relate to. For example both shows include kids in the main cast, making it easier for kids to be able to relate to. another way is that the shows include facts that are educational and are presented in an exciting way so kids would be interested to learn and explore.
