2) What is the objective of the NHS Represent campaign? 

The objective of the NHS Represent campaign is to encourage more blood and organ donors from mainly black and Asian communities

3) What does this advert want people to do once they've seen it (the 'call to action')? 

consider donating their blood or potentially a organ to help out the people in need

4) Why is the advert called 'Represent'? 


The Represent is referring to the fact that the advert is highlighting several different types of communities to help and support patients as much as possible 

5) Why have the producers chosen celebrities to feature in the advert? Give an example of three well-known people who appear in the advert and why they are famous - make sure you write their names and spell them accurately.

celebrities such as Lady Leshurr, Aaron Christian, Ade Adepitan, Mariah Idrissi, Dawn Hunter and Doc Brown were shown in the advert to form a sense of familiarity amongst the audience, causing them to be most likely interested with the advert due to influence.

6) What are the connotations of the slow-paced long shot of empty chairs at the end of the advert?

the slow paced long shots are used in parts of the advert to let the audience connect with the actors which conveys an emotional scene, helping the audience feel a sense of empathy.

7) How does the advert match the key conventions of a typical urban music video?

the advert used several dynamic camera angles and lighting to portray different emotions and convey interest for the audience, which can be be commonly seen in how typical music videos are made.

the advert subvert stereotypes by - representing women in typically masculine jobs,  men taking help from others, people with disabilities exceeding at their career and children taking part in helping modern society.
